About Panama Due to its geographic location, Panama holds strategic importance. The official language is Spanish, however; many Panamanians speak English. Our official currency is the U. S. dollar.

The Panamanian currencies are equivalent in size and values to those of the U.S.A. The Republic of Panama is located in the center of the Western Hemisphere, its limits Borders are: to the North, the Caribbean Sea; to the East, the Republic of Colombia; to the South with the Pacific Ocean and to the West with the Republic of Costa Rica.

Panama is the link between Central America and South America, constituting an isthmus of 80 km. wide in its narrower section. It is divided in 9 provinces Chiriqui, Veraguas, Bocas del Toro, Cocle, Los Santos, Herrera, Panama, Colon, Darien and 5 indigenous communities Embera-Wounaan, Nobe Buble, Kuna Yala, Wargandi and Madugandi.

Panamanian weather is tropical and uniform throughout the year. The average temperature is 27 degrees C. The best way to get to Panama is through air travel. If you want to come driving, you can get here through the Inter American Highway that runs through Central America. If you are coming by sea, you can disembark in one of our ports.

Panama counts with lots of places with high potentials for tourism like Bocas del Toro, San Blas, Costa Arriba de Colon, Chiriqui and Cocle where you can find a variety of beaches and islands, organize canopy adventures, river rafting, ecotourism, surfing, snorkeling, etc., and even it provided a large variety of attractions, the Panama Canal is the most known and popular attraction. Currently, Panama administrates the Canal, which undergoes an expansion. This is a country in constant evolution and movement, with an international banking center, successful law firms, insurance agencies, and call centers, privileged malls, along with a beautiful cultural diversity, enviable, enviable ecological wealth and booming tourism.
